What is it with high school boys and their opinions about women?

Today, I was sitting in class when I overheard two boys sitting in front of me say, and I quote,

“Coach Scott* says you have to show your dominance over the woman.”

So, I looked at him and said, “Coach Scott is a jerk.” The two boys just looked at me. “Show your dominance over the woman?! What is this, 1950?! As a woman, I am insulted by what you just said!”

One of the boys replied (a little too quickly, I might add), “He was talking about animals!”

I gave him the ‘are you freaking serious’ look as I said, “Yea, right! I hope you both end up alone forever, because no woman wants a guy that says those types of things!”

Ugh, needless to say, these two boys ruined my day in less than five minutes.
